Default Express Card to USB???

HI again,

My laptop comes with 2 USB ports and an Express Card slot. I need 3 USB connections for my djng set up (External Sound card, Midi Controller and External Hard Drive) I dont use the Express Card and was wondering if you can buy a converter (Express Card to USB)? I know I could buy a powered hub, but wanted to keep things to a minimum if possible.

Yes, you can - ironically enough, the ExpressCard standard connects via USB 2.0 (or sometimes pci-e 1x) to the motherboard.

They should be easy enough to find - I'd point you to NewEgg but you're in the UK.
