hi im new on here so forgive me if im posting this in the wrong place, my question is i have a laptop and tried to install medal of honor on to it i put the first cd in and it says install so i click install, it says its installing and then finishes, it doesnt ask me for disk 2 or the code, it doesnt ask me to save it any where and theres no desktop icon, but when i go in control panel its there but when i click uninstall it says its uninstalled it, but its still there, so my question is how do i get rid of it and then install it again, any tips would be great thanks.

Search for it in other places like, C:\Program Files..... C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name\My Documents and delete everything that is called medal of honour or can you put the disk in and select uninstall?

i have tried going in control panel and deleting it but it doesnt work. i tried entering the disk and clicking uninstall and nothing.

Righty oh, do this
C:\Program Files, at the top of that page click Tools, Folder options, view and then select show hidden files and folders and click apply..... you should now see a folder named 'Install Shield Install Information"
Within there you will see a load of folders with numbers and letter, Check each of these folders and open the 'setup configuration settings' files with notepad
One of these folders will have the name of the game you are trying to uninstall, it will be at the top of one of those folders that you opened with notepad listed as AppName=Medal of Honor
Just delete that entire folder and you should be good to go

sorry but im a bit confussed about what u said do i c the programs but couldnt find tool?

Your harddrive will be labeled C, click My Computer, then you should see the C drive click on that and within that click program files

hi i just found it and deleted, but its still shows medal of honor on my control panel it when you replied now can i just try installing it again

thank you so much it seems to be installing ok now and has asked me if i wanted a desktop icon etc, thanks for your time. i will pop back if it still dont work.

i have another problem now i have installed the game and when i click load it says please insert the correct cd-rom, select ok and restart application, its the right disk though.

Did you try disk one and two?

i have put both disks in, i know the game works as i have been playing it on my dads pc,

this may seem stupid but have you tried rebooting after installation?

i dont think it will fix this issue, but it's fixed a few of my game installations that vista didnt like much
