I have a gateway MX8711 that wont boot up. after powering up I get the Gateway splash screen with the options to enter setup (F2) or boot menu (F10). I can enter into bios with no problem. when I click on F10 I get a read out of various things including "no tpm or tpm has problem". I can't boot from the CD/DVD drive nor from the USB. I tried removing both sticks of ram (another poster had a similar problem and this solved it for him) but with no luck. this is driving me crazy...
