Hdd Pass Problem

Hello evrybdy, i have a problem about my Asus F3jc, i adjusted a pass to hdd on bios but it cant open last 2 days! is there anybody to help me about this problem? i bought it yet! but i cant open my comp.pls help

Do you mean you set a bios password?

ok my friend! i set to hdd password.and when i reboot my computer it says me wrong pass! So i cant open my computer anymore! im asking to you what can i do in this state! hdd pass setting from bios but its not supervisor pass! im saying hdd pass! if you help me i'll be happy thanks a lot...

As far as I know you need to send it to Asus with your receipt as proof that its yours.

That's the only way.

Silly question but I have to ask. Did you try the password with or with out caps on?

From experience there are two types of people who forget their passwords.

People who don't own the laptop they are trying to access and people who don't own the laptop they are trying to access.

Anyway, buying a new hard drive will not circumvent the password, a hard drive password does not mean the hard drive hardware has a password, it means the PC is locked from accessing ANY hard drive unless a password is entered.

The only way to fix it is to get the motherboard flashed, which 99% can only be done by the manufacturer and you will need proof of purchase.
