I just had a new hard drive installed onto my dell 6400 inspiron. The mouse touch pad scroll facility on the right hand side and bottom of the touch pad doesn't work. I've been on the dell support website and tried to download the XP mouse driver, but it keeps asking for a disc.

If anyone can help I'd be really grateful.

Thanks,

James

You should have a recovery disk that came with your laptop, use that.

If you didn't then you have a recovery partition on your old hard drive. You need to get that onto a disk but I'm not sure how.
