Hello, needing some help with my laptop as mentioned above. When I went to switch it an the other day all i got was the blue power light (bottom left). I took out the battery and was able to switch on with the AC cable. Then put the battery back in with the intention of recalibrating.
Now I can't get the machine to switch on by battery or mains and am looking for some help before I go to buy a new battery Hope someone can help Iain

it sounds like the battery has shorted the laptop and its now broke if you cant get it working with the mains alone, you will need to get a professional to fix it and hope its only the powersupply.
