Hi Guys,

Its my 1st post here!
I need to get a Laptop for work, ideally Very small, lightweight and a good looker. As such I really want a Sony Vaio. The only problem is that I must have a laptop with a display that supports at least 1280x1024 (SXGA) I know that the Vaio's tend to be wide screen but I can't find one that goes beyond 1280x800.

Does anyone know of a Vaio that supports this resolution? Cost is not really a problem.

Any advice or comments greatly welcome.

James.

Sorry, I should have said I don't want to go as big as a 17" screen. The smaller the better

To me, it sounds kind of impossible.
14.1 is probably as small as screens get (you can get 12" I think), but TFT/LCD screens have a 'native' maximum resolution, and that sort of resolution is the native for a 19" screen, whereas a 17" screen is 1024x768 I think.

So, I think you might have to settle for the 1280x800
