Hey i recently bought a laptop, acer aspire 5720.137

Processor Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor model number T5250
Processor speed 1.5 GHz
Processor bus 667 MHz
Processor cache 2 MB
Memory (RAM) 2048 MB
Storage (hard drive) 160 GB
OS Vista Home Premium
Video card: Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) X3100

1. wondering if i can run games which require 2ghz minimum processor, when i have 1.5 x 2 :S ?
2. recently bought kane & lynch: dead men
minimum requirements...
os: vista or xp
processor: 2 ghz
Memory: 1gb ram, 7 gb free (no problem lol)
Video card: 128mb nvidia 6600 or better ati x1300 or better

the game loads up fine, menus are fine, the cutscenes are different every time cuz u can see thru things and stuff...
Game plays awful everything is a light blueish colour except from people and cars etc are nearly invisible and you can see through everything on top of that its a bit slow

i thought i bought a good laptop, maybe the game requires a better video card which i will get if needed but what should i do ?? ahhhhhh
just wana know if its the card thats the prob cuz i no built in ones are crap even though this one ment to have t&l still dont sound state of the art does it, intel graphics media accelerator... :|, i hope dual core 1.5ghz is enough to run the game, should be its the new technology lol, hopefully its jus a video card i need

3. Can video cards be easily installed into laptops?

Thanks alot!! help appreciated!!

Games need good graphics cards, laptops do not have them and cannot be upgraded.

I very much doubt anything current worth playing will run on your laptop.

Im wondering why u bought a lappie to play games on?

just goto the options and set the audio and video to their lowest settings, you also try and stop any running processes that are using memory, ( bet u got norton on it )

although you got 1mb mem vista will eat 512k of that before even blinking.
