Ok guys, I have an old phone on the network O2, problem is i have a friend that wants to call me as they have free calls to any mobile on O2 and i have no idea what the number of my old phone is. I have no credit id get some but that kinda defeats the object of my friend calling ME for free its not stored in the phonebook either, i know on some phones you can enter a specific code , example: *#100*# and it will tell you what your number is , but i dont know what it is for O2? or even if they do that service. So any ideas how i can find out the number for free?

Have you tried:

Menu >> Contacts >> My numbers ? Your mobile number is usually automatically saved there.

Also have u tried entering *#100# into your phone?

The only other way I can think of is getting credit and ringing your friend [ a miss call?] and then she'll be able to tell you your number.

*#100# only works on Vodafone

Most PAYG sims have emergency credit, you call customer services and they like give you £1 for emergency's once a month or per top up. So turn that on and make a call to another mobile and presto.
