I have a hp dv6000 that has a screen issue. The light source for the lcd doesn't work unless you move the screen back and forth a couple times. Before I tear into it, I was wondering if anyone else had this issue and could tell me how they fixed it. Also if there is of maybe a step by step on taking it apart, since this will be my first time of laptop repair. thanks

Possibly a dry joint. Something i would not tackle unless you can solder pretty well and have experience dismantling laptops.
