ok first time post:wave: by the way GREAT SITE;
so i have one of the hp laptop display problems, and yes did check it out on the hp site but since my laptop has the intel sentrino cpu it is not covered by the extended warranty period:upset: as per the tech person i talked to so here goes $500.00 down the drain, go figure 14 months old:sigh:but looks like this is a big problem with all hp and other makes of laptops with the on board nvidia g84 and g86 video chip.you can bet that this is the last time i will ever buy an hp product, also will not recommend an hp product to any of my customers.

just like to see how many others out there have this same problem with the intell cpu:wave:

I read about this on a different forum. The crappy thing seems to be that Intel gave HP money to fix the problem and HP is basically keeping the cash and screwing their customers and then blaming Intel.......... Unless I read the story incorrectly.......

Got a link to that story Bubba? I have one and have had screen issues. Fixed with aftermarket drivers.

I'll look again tonight though when I get back from the doc's. I saw it on some obscure forum when i was researching that update snafu I had with my friend's computer and didn't bookmark the site.
