I have a hp pavillion dv 8ooo that looks like it will start for one second and then flashes the power button. the screen never lights. I took out the battery and used only the cord. and the alternate also. I removed the two hard drives and tried to start ...

I have a hp pavillion dv 8ooo that looks like it will start for one second and then flashes the power button. the screen never lights. I took out the battery and used only the cord. and the alternate also. I removed the two hard drives and tried to start it also. this is as far as my knowledge will take me.
