Default HP ZD8000 Laptop Freezing and not Powering on

I have an HP ZD8000 lap top with an 80 gig hardrive. Today it froze while on the internet. I shut the computer down and when it came up, i got the screen that says it wasn't shut down properly. I try to start in safe mode but ablue screen comes up saying I am mising drivers.

what is going on?

All the computer does is go to both screens and does not power up?

Will i be able to retrieve stuff off my hard drive?
