Attempting to game on laptops is always a bad idea. You pay more than an equivalent desktop, you end up with an inferior machine, and the entire point of a laptop (portability) is shot because you have to keep it plugged in and it's heavy.

With that said it won't handle it on anything other than Low and that's a stretch. Just get a netbook and a regular desktop PC if you want to do gaming.

well i dont want to do a whole heap of gaming. I have a PS3.

But that graphics card supports direct X 10 when most games only require 9. How will it not play? Its full HD and all, its a new graphics card?

New doesn't mean good. There are 100's of GFX cards and they all have different specs.

Also laptops typically have cut down specs to reduce heat, noise, conserve power and cost.

So a top of the range desktop card will max out games but a top of the range laptop card will not because its performance is being cut back.

the 3470 gfx card isn't that good, and being full HD doesn't rearly mean much, it just means what resolution the computer can do, it doesn't effect performance at all being full HD

Also if you're playing in HD or at a high resolution, the games will actually be worse than if playing at a lower resolution and will require lower in game settings.
