| Ok so I have Asus N80vn Laptop computer Here are some specs just to let you now what we are dealing with: CPU: Intel Mobile Core 2 Duo T5800 RAM: 4GB Vid Card: NVIDIA GeForce 9650m GT VRAM: 1GB The program i am using to see the CPU temp (CoreTemp) says that my top temperature is 85*C (185*F). I can also say for certain that i average ~54*C (129.2*C) My problem is that (Being a laptop) It over heats RAPIDLY. An example of this is playing Combat Arms for 10 Minutes and having to quit, shut down and wait for it to cool off before i could do anything. I have been using IO Game Booster to try and help, but it doesnt seem to do much in the way of heat, and a 2 Foot tall Vornado Swivel Fan to help. With that in mind, I would like some experts on the matter to suggest me the best laptop cooler. (and as a side question, is it possible to Liquid cool a laptop?) Thank you for all you help. |

| If you have the money to buy a hypothetical liquid cooling system for a laptop you have the money to buy the best way to keep your laptop from overheating: a desktop to play games on. This seems to have pretty good reviews (despite it being horrifically expensive), but this is why "gaming laptops" are universally poor. This also sounds more like a GPU overheat problem: most laptop Core 2s should be able to do 85C.

| ya. i like having the prortability of a laptop. and being able to sit in bed and play call of duty. Theres nothing like a war in your lap. But ya this looks pretty good. i will gladly pay $60 for an average of 70*-60*C It probably is a GPU Heating problem, but it turns into General Heating Problem very quickly. |

| How old is your laptop? Has it always overheated? Considering that you use it on your bed it might just be clogged with dust and need a good cleaning

| HA its less than a year old. got it Xmas morning. And i already cleaned it out, there wasnt much... Its most likly because that the CPU and the Fan arnt really that close to each other. They are connected by a copper heat sink about 2 inches long |
