My laptop was recently water damaged but I was able to salvage it and get it working save for one key on the keyboard and the screen which was unable to light up making everything difficult to view.

I heard it's quite plausible to sell on a laptop for parts or sell the laptop's parts separated to a dealer or someone else that is interested.

My laptop is a Dell Inspiron 6000, it's fairly old but the RAM has been updated and everything else is in good working order save for the keyboard and screen - is there any money to be made here or should I just get rid of the thing?

Ebay... other than that it's worthless.
