I am using a Notebook which has the chipset 945GM, CPU core duo T2250 (1.73Ghz, 533MHz) and an Integrated Intel GMA 950 VGA. Now I want to upgrade the current CPU to a higher one (Core 2 Duo, for example). Will it be OK to do this and what Core 2 Duo CPU I can use to upgrade? Thanks all

Depends on a lot of things, but in most cases laptops and not upgradeable, except for RAM.
