Hi guys, I switched on my laptop and got no reaction !? I've had no problems before and when I last closed it down all was well. The battery has been checked and is okay, the laptop lead has been checked and is okay, BUT there are no lights and no sign of life from my laptop !?

any help, guidance, words of wisdom, most appreciated.

Well .... if the battery is good and the PSU is good, then it isn't looking too good for you I'm afraid.

Your only option is to take it in to a repair shop and get a diagnosis and an estimate.

Hi and thanks, I thought it might be serious.

The laptop is an ACER and only 18 months old ! Could be a motherboard prob' as everything seems in order. Just thought I might be missing something.
