I have got 3 problems here and i wonder if anyone could help me out! I have got a Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop
1. My keyboard key letter 'U' was accidentally being 'pull' out by me, the key is still stick to the keyboard, but part of it is popping out! does anyone know if Dell warranty covers it or how i can get it stick back to how it was? 2. My laptop will hang very frequently when im using it, i have to wait for a few minutes before it will be okay and even when i click ctrl alt delete, it will hang there and after a few minutes, it will then show up the task manager screen, by then, all is working well. i do not have alot of start-up programs already and does not have much files on my laptop, so why is this happening? 3. sometimes when i on my laptop, the laptop will hang on the start-up screen; the windows vista 'welcome' screen, the round thing will be still circling, but it just would not go into my desktop, and sometimes it will be blank screen for a few minutes before loading my desktop picture. could anyone help me on this? many thanks!! i know nuts about computers and all. |

1. This is fairly simple, but can get fiddly. Place they key "too far" to the left of the little hingy hook things underneath, then slide it right and push down hard on the other side. It should snap into place.

2. It probably came with a load of junk clogging it up that you don't need, even if you can't tell it's there. I would recommend reinstalling your OS (XP, Vista, whatever it is) and if it still hangs, maybe buy some extra RAM, how much do you currently have? ie. 512MB, 1GB etc. 3. This would tie in with the RAM theory. Buy a 1GB stick of SODIMM RAM and install it in the flap on the underside of your laptop held in place by 1 pozidriv or maybe philips head screw. Doing so will not void your warranty, however opening the whole laptop cover, not just the RAM flap, may well void it. My System: FordyPC
