Rofl...

We've gone from talking about Laptop Cooling - to decent ways of blocking out roommates snoring xD

Earplugs would obviously be better, but I think we're over exaggerating the risk with ear phones...

If you start to not be able to breath, 90% of the time (estimated figure) you'll wake up automatically, its a nervous reaction.

Thats what I used to think, until someone I knew died from strangling themselves.

If you google it, you'll realise it is much more common then you think.

I'd also like to point out that 90% or the time when you are asleep, you would not wake up from being strangled. Thats what happens when you are strangled, it slowly cuts of your oxygen supply, so you just fall into a deeper and deeper sleep until you completely kick the bucket and never wake up again.
