Hi,
Yesterday I booted up my laptop as normal to find that the battery symbol in the taskbar has a red cross over it. When I hovered over the icon it said "No battery recognized" or something similar, yet when I click the icon it says the battery is plugged in and charging. I also noticed that the mouse was moving around very awkwardly, stiff and laggy, and sometimes I'd have to press the keys on the keyboard hard for the letters to actually appear. I'm in safe mode now and everything seems to be working fine here, but the problem arises again when I boot up in normal mode. I don't really understand the problem. The laptop boots up fine, except for the problem I mentioned above. I have the AC adaptor plugged in, and the LED battery light on the laptop is lit up. I'm completely baffled. Please help me ASAP as I desperately need my laptop for school work. Thanks, Josh. |
