| Well after searching through all the 'help i need a new laptop' threads, i didnt find the answer i was looking for. So im in the market for a new laptop. I usually buy custom built computers, so i dont know much about any brand. As for price, im looking to spend less then $1000american. basically i just want to know what brands to stay away from, and which brands are more high end. i wont be playing a lot of games, mostly just internet, documents and so on. I plan on installing Vista on it if it doesnt already have it, so it would be nice to have atleast 1Gig of ram, and an AMD turion processor(2GHz). can you guys reccomend any laptops that are decent? Dell, Acer, Toshiba, Sony, Gateway...., and any brands to stay away from? thanks guys. |
