Default Laptop cooling pad

Does anybody know of a good laptop cooling pad? My laptop is pretty much stationary, as i do not move it around or take it with me. Something that is quiet and does a good job.

Anybody have any experience or an opinion whether it is better to get a cooling pad where the fans blow the air onto your laptop, or to get one where the fans suck air away from the bottom of your laptop??

I've just phoned my laptop loveing friend and he said he gets cooler temps from fans that blow air, but he said you can always take cheap pads apart and turn the fans over to suck air. He's made a pad with 2 x 120 blue led fans with speed controllers , when i get my lappy i know where im going for my cooling pad :D

If your laptop sucks air from below and blows it out the side, your cooler must have fans blowing upwards. Otherwise the two might cancel out!

Go to Amazon and search for laptop cooler. There are some pretty good ones there. We have used the cheapest on one laptop for a few years.

Well they can go up to about 120c before any serious damage would happen
If your problem was associated with heat you would most probably see on screen artifacts
Have you done any virus/spyware scans recently? That could easily be the cause of your comp slowing down

I have confirmed the problem that i am having is indeed due to heat. Now i just need to find a cooling pad that blows air onto the laptop, not one that sucks the air.
