No laptop is going to perform well for games regardless of price. If you want to play high end games get a high spec desktop.

Ive got one already.....im not looking for anything major..just something that will be able to run games such as Left For Dead...Call of Duty 4.....CSS...other steam games.

My old XPS used to play COD4 and games like that at a very reasonable 30-40fps
Not that I gamed on it much cos it sucked lol That only had a single core 2.4GHZ cpu and a 7800GTX
