Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 (Intel GMA X3100)

V.S.

NVIDIA GeForce 7150M

*** which is the better graphic card?

*** which is better in gaming? (although i know both are not suited for gaming, but which will perform better than the other)

I hope someone could share their thoughts... THANKS

I'd imagine the Nvidia is a lot better of the two, but still pretty crap for games.

x3100 ... my friend has a 7150 and i have x3100 my graphic is rated 3.3 in vista assement thing and his is rated 2.9 .. also i see my friend cant handle warrock on med setting above and i can ... he has more RAM then me but my graphics outperform his, according to some sites and forums the 7150 is a Over Clocked version of 6150 and the 6150 sucks badly well compared to the x3100. Hope my comment helped

Well my 7150M is rated at 3.4 so I wouldn't trust that too much, proof is in the benchmarks.

well... on 3d marks 03 i outf performed his gfx card with me getting about 2000 marks and him getting about 1680 ish lol but his CPU is sucky compared to mine even though he has more ram. but i'm back on my pc since my laptop cannot do serious gaming and i also noticed X3100 runs better on vista since the drivers are better for it.

I set the default to 128mb in the bios, coarse tuned with N-Tune and i can get 20-27FPS in Flight Sim X, on medium high @1024x768. All I can say is that I would love to see an X3100 do that. FSX is very graphic intensive.
