Hey all, Just got back from a friends, i was helping him set up his new desktop when i noticed his laptop monitor bugging out? we restarted the laptop and it was the same problem even from the boot screen, this picture is what it looks like, its around 90% accurate from memory, i would of taken a picture but no cam on me, so anyways because the problem still happens during boot up as well as safemode,log on screen and desktop im assuming its the monitor and not a graphics card problem? not sure of the laptops brand or what not, just wondering what can be done,
Apparently it just started happening mid way through watching a video on youtube, im guessing his only option is to send it in for a monitor replacement, i asked if he has any insurance or warranty on it and he didnt know as it was a present. Cheers. |

Had a similar issue on my new HP, was drivers.
