Default Laptop problem: Hard drive in trouble?

Hey guys,

I have sort of the same problem. It happend when i tried to format my hard drive. I had had XP before, but wnated to upgrade to vista. So i put in the vista disk, and press the 'upgrade and format' kinda button. I finally get it to format the computer, after some work. Then when its done and i try to boot the computer from the vista disk, it just doesnt. It just keeps going in loops like it is restarting, i dont even get to the log in page.

So, have any other ideas for this problem?
