| I have an Acer Aspire 3003LC. For some reason whenever i run things like spybot or export files from Lightroom programme back to my external hard drive the laptop shuts down on its own accord half way through. Although i constantly run the laptop through the mains i have tried removing the battery in case of error but still the same. I upgraded the memory to 2 kingston 512 instead of its initial 256 about 2 months ago. I have tried putting the old memory back in but still it shuts down, hense ruling out these to possible problems, only thing i can think of now is a fault in the hard drive maybe. I have checked the setting which i have set to "never" shutting down after so much time. I use my laptop for editing pictures as i am into photography hense why i upgraded the memory a few months ago. Need help quick so any help and advice on things to check is appreciated |

| It's overheating, check the internal fans and remove all the dust from them.
