Hi There,

I was working on my laptop last night. I wasn't doing anything special, I think i was emailing and playing a game, and it turned itself off. It didn't shut down, it was like it had been unplugged, everything just went black and it stopped working. Now, it wont turn on. It doesn't have a battery (it's a loaner from a friend :eek: ), it just has the ac cord. The little light that comes on when the cord is plugged in wont come on, no matter what outlet I try plugging it into, but when it is plugged in the little box thats part of the cord (yeah, that thing...) makes a chirping noise. I left it unplugged overnight, but this morning when I plugged it back in, same problem. It's like no power is going from the wall outlet to the actual computer, although like I said, the little box is making a chirping noise.

Could it be a cord problem (oh please God)?

It's a Toshiba Sattelite m100, if that makes any difference.
