I can't seem to find anybody that has the same problem.. Like the title, i'm running a lenovo 3000 v100. Problem is the usb.

Anything i put into the usb port says it can go faster, in other words, its not running 2.0. Can anyone help please?

If the laptop is USB 1.0 then nothing you can do except maybe get a 2.0 add-on.
