Default MMORPG's Laptop

(Firstly, hope this is in the right catergory if not sorry)

Hey guys,

At the moment I'm currently looking at a mid-range laptop that will be able to run the likes of WoW and maybe Lord of the Rings Online at a push.. Being nearly computer illiterate I have however found two reasonably priced laptops that seem to have similar specs and I was wondering which would be the best bet to run the above games at a reasonable setting or even at all? If they can run either games what settings do you think they could possibly push?

Acer Aspire 7720G
* Processor - Intel Core 2 Duo T5250 / 1.5 GHz ( Dual-Core )
* RAM - 2 GB (installed) / 4 GB (max) - DDR2 SDRAM ( 2 x 1 GB )
* Hard Drive - 2 x 120 GB - Serial ATA-150 - 5400 rpm
* Operating System - Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium
* Screen - 17' TFT 1440 x 900 ( WXGA+ ) - 24-bit (16.7 million colours)
* Optical Drive - DVD±RW (+R double layer) / DVD-RAM - integrated
* Graphics - NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS - 256 MB

Or

* Processor - Intel Core 2 Duo T5750 2 GHz Dual-Core
* RAM - 4 GB (installed) 4 GB (max) - DDR2 SDRAM
* Hard Drive - 250 GB
* Operating System - Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium
* Screen - 15.4 in TFT active matrix 1280 x 800 24-bit (16.7 million colours)
* Optical Drive - DVD±RW (DL) / DVD-RAM
* Graphics - ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3470

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Many thanks,

I would say the second would play the games better than the first, as it looks like the first doesn't have a dedicated graphics card (unlike the ATI mobility HD 3470 on the other one) however could you post the minimum specs for this games? then I should be able to see if it would play them on decent settings.

Strongly consider just buying a desktop.

You're sacrificing battery life, upgradability, portability, and performance/$, when most of the time you probably won't even be near a wireless hotspot, making it generally useless for MMORPGs.
