Not completely sure if this is the right forum but here goes.

I'm moving soon and the house hasn't got internet and I've been considering getting mobile broadband for a while, so I could use net whilst out and about.

This is probably a dumb uestion but how do find out what services are available in my area and what the coverage is like? I know some of them have free laptops/netbooks with them.

Many thanks

Type into your search engine the mobile network you would like, then "mobile network coverage"
i.e. o2 mobie network coverage, then go through the steps to find if your new area is covered heres afew to start with,
Orange UK mobile coverage
T-Mobile Coverage Street Check
UK coverage - Services - O2

I just got a 3 payasyougo setup for holiday. First impressions are the bandwidth is very expensive. It's not something I'd use all the time.

For occasional use Vodafone PAYG is good .... no contract £15 per gb and no end of month expiry of credit. No good for high use tho.
Coverage here

I bought one of these last December, for occasional use and I am still using the original £15 .... got around £3 left on it.
Example of what 1gb gives here
Good for email and surfing etc., but obviously a no no for any kind of downloading.
