it was about 72 minutes battery life when just downloading a file from the internet. But no man in the right mind would expect to play games on a gaming laptop on battery only anyway! I sure dont with my dads gaming laptop. despite its a laptop, its almost always plugged in.

The only downfall I see is that it comes with Vista loaded on it. Otherwise, this would be a nice Christmas gift to myself.

you can chose if you want vista or vista + XP dual boot.
