i just got a Gateway laptop from my brother, model # MX6455. I am having problems finding the correct driver for the sound. i went to the gateway website and tried using the drivers they had on the website, but every time i try to install it, it doesnt work. does anyone know where i can find a driver for this damn laptop?
this is the apparent driver that im supposed to be installing, but it wont work for me, it keeps saying installation failed! http://support.gateway.com/support/d...5&uid=17936501 |

If you go on windows update website they might be able to find the missing driver. They did for me

ermmm, just google free drivers, ive done it loads of times, itll ask you for youre mail and lots of other stuff but you know, its worth it i suppose
