Default New Laptop!

I have decided to buy a new laptop. I have been considering changing to a Mac for some time now. I thought this would be the best place to ask about what I should get (or what I shouldn't get).

there is a new update for vista out now so vista is getting better. it fixes all the problems with old software etc.

yeah the sue was apple said the mac book air could do 1,000,000 colours when it could only do about 200,000.

also i would be afraid that i would snap the mac air when ever i opened it

i like the look of the macbook air but not the fact it has only one USB, and no optical drive. I heard that Vista SP1 would make it incompatible with some hardware and software. I also read online that Microsoft were thinking of releasing Windows 7 in 2009. Which makes me think they are like pushing Vista under the rug???

Lol Apple also sued this corporation something to do with being 'green' for having a mildly similar logo

Apple's laptops aren't so great.

Get something with good reviews, a Core 2 Duo, and good battery life.

Why do you think they are not so great? I heard they have 5 hour battery life and they do have Intel Core 2 Duo running at 2GHz which is quite good for a laptop.

Because "MAC" is short for "Macintosh" and "Macintosh" is short for "Most Applications Crash, If Not The Operating System Hangs..."

Cheers:

Something like this is cheaper (nearly half the price), with similar battery life, and has dedicated graphics. Looking through a list of laptops with C2Ds, I can find plenty with better specifications than a MacBook would ever have.from a lot of different manufacturers.
