Default New Laptop+Graphics card

Hi all, hope you can help. Well this week my laptop is deciding to slowly die. 1st the battery went, so its running from the mains, now its slow, and keeps disconnecting from the internet and not allowing me to reconnect. So I think its time for a new one. I've been looking and found these two HP ones, they look good value for money, but what do you think?

My actual question is about graphics cards, One has a NVIDIA GeForce 7150M, the other a NVIDIA GeForce Go 6100, bottom of the range one's then, but will they cope with reasonable games, COD2, GTR2, that my intel 82855 won't at the moment. And how do these 2 compare with the new intel X3100.

Thanks in advance, Michael

I expect that it will work but the games will be nothing special to play.

The laptops are pretty good, I would be tempted myself if I needed one.

I personally think that if you want to game you should just get a desktop

Well, I want a laptop so it can be semi portable, not fully as they are quite big machines. The other reason for getting a half decent graphics card is that I have quite a few CAD programs I use, that run ok on this laptop at the moment but could run better (locks up sometimes, and have to wait for it to unlock itself :) )

In which case I think the laptop will be fine. It will be able to run the CAD easily I should think.

Ok so change of plan, as one the laptops have gone up in price (to £999.00!!!!!) What do you make of these two, which one is the overall better laptop,

Again, they look fine. I would go for the slightly more expensive one with more RAM and bigger hard drive.
