i have the old PCMCIA air card for sprint wireless broadband made by pantech. i have to get a new notebook, which i have and they all are express slots now. i found an adapter that takes the old style down to express, but says it is not compatible and will not work with my specific air card. does anyone know of an adapter i could use for a pantech px-500 regular PCMCIA card or of a usb adapter? any ideas?

USB Wireless dongles are so cheap (ie. less than a tenner) that it's hardly worth it. You could get something brand new for same price as chasing after something old...
