Just broke the screen on my new laptop!

So I have urgently had to load up my EA cricket 2007 game

Just about to start hitting some balls but for some reason my laptop wont let me press to directional buttons at the same time? so i cant hit any diagonal shots!!

Anyone know if there is an easy solution to this? I am using a HP, not sure what model?

Any help would be much appreciated

I'm not sure if this helps, but is stickeykeys enabled?
I don't think it is that, but it is worth a shot
