i am having strange issues with a Toshiba Satellite P200D ..
i have tried multiple operating systems; Ubuntu, WindowsXP, Windows7, Windows Vista.. (the laptop came installed with Vista Home Premium).
when i install the proper ATI video drivers, my screen just goes black. computer is still running just cant see anything which makes it hard to see whats on the screen. I can install the Catalyst Software, just not the actual driver for the video. other than that the laptop runs really well with the Standard VGA driver from all the operating systems ..
anyone know what the cause could be, or maybe giveme some hints on what to try to solve the issues ..
the laptop is out of warranty, so i dont want to have to pay to send it back to Toshiba ..
