Default Shall i switch?

Ive currently got a dell inspiron 6000 running XP, its on its last legs, i have a problem with the motherbaord apparently.

While looking around online at laptops last night i thought ' why not be adventurous and go for a mac'.

I really only use my pc for using the net, and the only game i play is sims2

Ive never used anything but windows, i was just wondering peoples opinions on whats best.

So, should i stick with windows? Or get a mac?

If windows, what laptops would you reccomend?

For ease of use and security nothing beats a mac. If I was just surfing (and you can pic Sim's up for a mac) it would be a no brainer for me.

I'd never switch, I'd find the lack of software and change in how to operate a MAC a problem.
