Ok, so my cohort at work gave me a Thinkpad to dissect. (It needed a new hard drive anyway and I love tinkering) It should work fine, but we don't have any ac adapters for it. I'm going to order one but seriously, we totally have a ginormous box of various ac adapters in our stockroom. If all the specs match (plug, voltage, etc), couldn't I just use one of those?

Yes, if it matches there should be no reason why it wouldn't work.

LOL, thanks. I realized after posting how silly of a question it was but hey, it's Friday. I was mentally checked out after I rolled out of bed this morning. ;)
