Hi all, I'm a newbie here. I had a cracked laptop screen which i replaced with one bought on ebay. But the problem is some banners on some websites i visit instead of displaying correctly(correct banners), at times shows/comes out with a SOLID RED display graphic(banner), which at times are clickable and at times not.

What could be wrong with the monitor or graphics?

tnx.

Could we have a clue like what the laptop model code is and if we're lucky what the actual replacement screen part code is and a sample web page which displays badly?

Have you considered bookmarking a consistently badly-displayed web page, updating the graphics driver from the laptop support page and checking the web page again?

It sounds nothing to do with hardware or drivers, I agree.
