Hi,
I am thinking of buying a Sony VAIO N31M/W but i cant seem to find a lot
of reviews on it so i am a bit unsure...

Does anybody have one of these? Are they any good?

I would be using it mainly for internet (Studying) and may play the odd
game. Would it play the latest games out?

I am interested mainly because its white, if possible i want a laptop any colour but black.

Would be grateful for any advice or suggestions anyone may have.

Sony is normally pretty good kit, what is the spec of the machine?

I think these are new models as I have my eye on a Sony also and being new that may be a reason behind the lack of reviews.

I think sony is way over-priced
at least over here. you can get the same thing for 1000-1500 dollars less from hp, dell, etc

The new Sony range are in-fact very competitive, or at least the one I'm thinking of getting is, I was surprised myself.

Yeah, that will do office stuff and Internet no problem.

Games are going to be a struggle as it doesn't have a dedicated graphics card.

http://vaio.sony.co.uk/view/ShowProd...y=VN+AR+Series

I've been looking at this one, 2GB RAM, 160GB HD and a Nvidia 8400 128MB so will do ok with games.

It's also got a quicker processor than any other brand I can find and a 17" screen.

£850ish, which I think is pretty dam good.
