I doubt it. Booting of CDs can sometimes be troublesome. Just double check it is set to boot off CD in the BIOS, that the CD is the first boot device and make sure you press a key to boot off the CD when it says to. Some mobos also have the option to load a boot menu at startup, somthing like press F3 for boot menu, then hit CD.

CD is the only one set to boot in the bios, i have taken everything off now. it does register the CD, it will go through the next screen of loading the windows setup files then after that it just hangs on a black screen.
It was working before i done a fresh install yesterday it stopped as soon as the BSOD came back, but i don't understand how that can effect it.
