Hey, I spilled some squash stuff on my laptop my battery was out but it got right inside and I think it's ****ed alot of stuff up. I loaded it up and it said that no hardrive could be found, and it went to like a sort of grey screen with a list of the items in the computer e.g speaker, monitor, etc.
It's it worth taking it somewhere to get repaired? Do I just need to pay for a new motherboard or hardrive, or just buy a new one?

Thanks for any help in advance

Most of the time if a laptop's motherboard is wrecked it's not cost-effective to have it repaired. Super unlikely this is a HDD failure, it sounds like it killed the controller on the motherboard.

If its under accidental warranty then good for you. If not, then I wont really advise you having it repaired. It would actually be much better if you get yourself a new one. How old is the laptop anyways?
