I have been looking around the interweb at laptops (due to my current HD scare) and have been wondering if it was possible to find a site that did ENTIRELY custom laptops
The places i have been to seem to only give you some select options. Another questions related is if there are any Laptop "cases". Or Laptops with only a mother board that i could put my stuff into. That would be sweet! Just some aimless wondering... |

To a certain extent yes, Dell is probably the biggest site offering such products.

You can get cases, but they're all awful beige-box equivalents. The last question, doesn't really work. It's not a form factor that is so customisable as the desktop at home. RAM, HDD and peripherals is about as good as it gets. My System: FordyPC

They're few and far between, obviously "laptop case" tends to just bring up carry cases.
Check out misco.co.uk (Although I know you're in US) they had a few last I looked. |
