| I bought a universal laptop charger a couple of days back and it has now exploded on me:4-dontkno Then a friend told me to check the power i need on the back of my laptop. It says 19v and 3.16A i think max. The universal charger i had used a cable of 10A:eek: But i could change the volt to 19V. Now i'm wondering what should i do. Should i buy my original samsung charger for around 40-50 or should i get the universal charger for just 20 ? Couldn't i just get a cable that is 3A and use it with the universal charger ? Btw, the universal charger is called Meind i think. Thanks for the help:smile: |

| Get the original charger from Samsung. Lots of the cheap(so called universal) chargers are rubbish and if it hasn't already, could fry your Laptop.

| Agreed, you get what you pay for. Cheap ones are often not matched to you machine and/or are poor quality.
