Hi i've got an Acer Aspire 5052AWXMI and want to upgrade it.....

I want 3GHz or more
I have 2.20 GHz


I want 2GB RAM or more
I have 765.6 MB

and a decent video card

can any one help me.......

when I google that model number I get a laptop.. do you have a laptop? If so you'll be very very hard pressed in upgrading the processor or the video card ;)

Memory: 2 x 512MB of DDR2 533/667 MHz memory, upgradeable to 4 GB using two soDIMM modules (dual-channel support) would be the route you need to go with memory..
If you don't have a laptop then ignore me.

Yes it is a laptop and its not actually me upgrading it as i dont know much about the working of a computer, im upgrading it so i can play games like bioshock and test drive unlimted

the best you'll do is upgrade the ram.. the thing came "vista ready" so it's gotta be new..

Basically upgrading a CPU in a laptop isn't really doable.

You also cannot change the GFX card.

RAM is the only thing you can upgrade.

It sounds like the expansion port for things such as wi-fi cards. It does pretty much the same thing as the pci ports on a desktop pc's motherboard.

Post a pice for us to be sure if you want.
