hey every one im new here and already asking for help, I want to increase harddrive space of my laptop I have an external but i hate carrying it around, can i do it by myself, what do I need to buy? should i take to a hardware support store?

If you replace your hard drive with a bigger one you will need to re-install Windows, all your software and personal settings and files. It will also involve taking the laptop apart.

It really depends how confident you are at doing that and what experience you have with this type of thing.
