My customer has a toshiba satellite with Vista Basic installed. They have their power set to never go to sleep mode but they like to manually put it their once in a while. when they wake it up they have no keyboard. If they shut it down and restart it the keyboard works. It's only with standby mode. i told him to try hibernate and see if he gets the same results as with standby, but i still need to know what causes this kind of thing. i know sleep mode has alot of problems with waking up. any advice for the keyboard issue?

BIOS issue related to ACPI, poke around in there.
